Medicinal properties of almond
milk
Almond milk strengthens the body. It is rejuvenating, an
aphrodisiac and a good tonic for the nerves. It enhances
intelligence, memory and the ability to understand things
quickly. This is a very good restorative, especially in
autumns and winters, or after a period of major exertion.
Dosha analysis of Almond milk
The recipe pacifies kapha dosha and vata dosha,
but increases pitta dosha. Hence, persons having
pitta constitution should use it sparingly.
Ingredients:
- Almonds, 11, soaked overnight in a cup of water
- Milk, 1 cup
- Cardamom, ground, half a teaspoonful
- Sugar (optional)
