This condition is an acute inflammation of the trachea and bronchi of the lungs resulting in the accumulation and discharge of phlegm or sputum. Symptoms may include tightness around the chest, difficulty in breathing, slight fever and loss of appetite. Ayurveda calls this disease kasa roga and considers it to be primarily due to poor digestion.
