Guidelines to follow this course

To help you have a better understanding of what the Bhagavad-Gita is, we have prepared an Introduction to its first chapter that you may first read. You may then start lesson 1. At any time you can also consult the Description of the Gita that gives detailed information about the events that preceded Bhagavad-Gita and of which the Gita is a part. To read a short definition of the many Sanskrit words you will encounter in the text, you may consult the Glossary. A Verse index is also available.
