Our subject textbooks cover the subjects of Science and Social studies for the primary grades. In 2008, we will also be producing books for English and Mathematics.

Social Studies For Kids (Class I-V)

The ICOT Social Studies series engages students in activities that help them discover ways to live harmoniously with themselves, their society and the environment. The course contents enable learners to make meaningful connections between social concepts and find relevance with them in their world.

Science For Kids (Class I-V)

The ICOT Science Books go beyond just teaching science as a subject. ICOT Science books use Jiva's COMIC-PIE™ approach to scientific thinking (Classifying Observing Measuring Inferring Communicating Predicting Identifying Experimenting).

The skills acquired here are transferable to the real world, allowing learners to solve actual problems, from changing a light bulb to protecting the ozone layer.

Environmental Education for Kids (Class I-V)

The Environmental Education for Kids series enables learners to understand their physical and social environment, and develops their sensitivity towards the protection and conservation of the environment. It engages students in activities that help them discover ways to live harmoniously with themselves, others and the environment. The contents are organised in a manner that enables learners make meaningful connections. Global issues have been situated in a local context and solutions have been discussed. Activities within the lessons encourage students to develop an ecologically responsible attitude.
