The fee for a medical consultation is determined by your location. If you reside in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, or Afghanistan, a general consultation will cost Rs.49, and a specialized consultation is priced at Rs.500. If you're located in any other country, a general consultation starts at $20 for a 30-minute session, while a specialized consultation is priced at $35. During the first consultation, your doctor will assess your medical information and reports shared through the consultation form. Your doctor will conduct a thorough examination of your health, with a special emphasis on your diet, lifestyle and geographic condition. The consultation will be done in according to the Ayurvedic principles of Prashna (questions) and Darshan (observation) chikitsha. During video consultation, your doctor will observe your eyes, nails, skin and physical constitution. Based on these examination, the doctor may prescribe medicines along with diet and lifestyle customized for you.
Medicines prescribed by your doctor will be dispatched within 24 hours of your consultation. Your medicines may take 15-20 days to reach you depending on your address. Please read our shipping policy for more information.
You can book a video consultation with your doctor anytime by mailing or chatting with your personal health coach or by initiating a chat session with our support executives. Additional consultations will be charged at $10 for 30 minutes.

Ayurveda is a natural science. Ayurvedic medicines use herbs which is safe for patients as long as it taken under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor. A few rare formulations in Ayurveda use heavy metals. Jiva Ayurveda does not manufacture or prescribe such formulations.
Ayurveda is effective in providing significant relief in old and chronic health conditions. How successful the treatment is depends on several factors such as your age, health status, adherence to doctor’s advices and taking medicines on time among other things.
No, you do not have to be a vegetarian to benefit from Ayurvedic medicines. However, your doctor may advice a vegetarian diet during the course of your treatment depending on your health condition.
Ayurvedic medicines can be safely taken with allopathic medicines. Unless otherwise mentioned by your doctor, you can continue both form of medication safely..
