I had the pleasure of completing an advanced Ayurvedic consultant course at Jivagram and enjoying numerous Ayurvedic treatments, including Abhyangha, Sweda, Nasya, Potali, and Shirodhara. The therapists performing the treatments were wonderful – thorough, warm, and very attentive. A special thank you to therapist Mamta, whose care, professionalism, and calmness made me feel completely safe and cared for. She always explained every step, and when I had any doubts, she asked questions, and ensured my comfort. The team of therapists was well-organized, always striving to create an atmosphere of peace – they played music, lit a candle, and ensured silence. Khushi at the front desk was always smiling, helpful, and friendly, and the entire administrative staff deserves recognition – especially Nidhi and Ilyas, who were incredibly dedicated to helping me rebook my ticket and find a gift for my daughter. Their openness and warmth made you feel truly at home. The kitchen at Jivagram was fantastic – the food was delicious, healthy, and prepared with love. The kitchen staff were very helpful and always smiling. The rooms were generally clean and pleasant, but unfortunately, after checking under the bed, it turned out they hadn't been cleaned – dust and dirt lingered. The mattress was very hard – after two weeks, I felt "broken," so those who don't like hard beds might have a problem with that. The rooms themselves and the downstairs treatment rooms need refreshing – in the downstairs, you could hear outside noises, slamming doors, and conversations, which made it a bit difficult to relax, especially during Shirodhara. The outdoor area is beautifully maintained and full of plants, although it would have been nice to have a place to sit, exercise, or walk. The lectures and practical sessions were very well prepared – substantive, inspiring, and delivered with passion. Yoga classes took place daily and were led with immense dedication and heart from the teacher, who eagerly shared his knowledge – and continues to do so, even after we left. Our stay at Jivagram was a tremendous pleasure and a beautiful experience. It's a unique place where Ayurveda truly comes alive – thanks to the people who put heart, care, and genuine commitment into their work.

I attended a course to become an Ayurvedic therapist with a group. The center is very nice, surrounded by greenery, although it shows its age. The rooms are spacious but need more thorough cleaning, especially the bathroom taps. WiFi is only available in common areas, not in the rooms. Each room has free air conditioning, although our door lock often did not work – eventually the batteries were replaced. The center has a large yoga hall, and classes are led by a very dedicated and caring instructor, Antarang. There is also a yoga hall in the garden, but due to mosquitoes, we used it less often. Lizards often visited our rooms – staff tried to chase them away, but they kept coming back, so we had to get used to them. The food was delicious – the best I’ve had at such retreats. The kitchen staff were very friendly and always offered more food. The reception was helpful and answered all questions. Our guide, Nidhi in Dipaka’s ascetic program, took care of us, helping with trips and shopping. Going outside the building on our own was not possible – only a booked taxi could take us where we wanted. This made me feel a bit restricted, and there was very little space to walk – I counted only about 300 steps around the building. I did not participate in Panchakarma, so I cannot comment on that. I think an outdoor gym would be useful to help maintain daily physical activity. I give 5 stars for the friendly, helpful, and kind people. I would give the building itself 3 stars – it needs refreshing and improvement.

My stay at Jivagram was truly wonderful. It was an incredible experience to explore Ayurveda at its source - to attend lectures and classes led by knowledgeable doctors and therapists, and to witness how deeply healing this place is. I’m especially grateful for the consultations with Dr. Arsha, for the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff, including the helpful reception team, and for the always available and supportive Nidhi. The yoga sessions were a beautiful part of each day, the teacher was always well prepared, attentive and put his whole heart into every class, creating a space of calm and connection. The meals were delicious, sattvic, and prepared with so much care. I’m leaving full of new insights, beautiful experiences, and a deep sense of inner cleansing and connection with myself. Thank you very much for this beautiful transformative time.
