Of all the conditions that yoga asanas can improve, kidney-related diseases are one of them. There can be multiple reasons behind renal failure – insufficient nutrition, stress, and unhealthy lifestyle, and by doing yoga regularly you can beat stress and boost the health of your kidneys
Here are two beginner level yoga poses you can try
Lie on your back. Bring your feet together and keep your arms by your body.
As you exhale, lift your chest and feet off the ground. Stretch your arms towards your feet.
Maintain the pose while breathing deeply and easily.
Hold the position for a few seconds without straining yourself.
As you exhale, come back to the ground slowly and relax.
Do 3-4 repetitions, but do not overdo.
Lie on your belly. Keep the forearms flat on the floor with the elbows under your shoulders.
Bring your chin to the floor, pull up the knee caps and thighs together.
Inhale, lift the head and chest from the floor. Keep the neck in line with spine.
Squeeze the thighs and buttocks and press the pubic bone down into the floor.
Keep elbows close to your sides and lift higher. Draw shoulders back together, chest out and hip up.
Hold for 2-6 seconds.
Exhale and lower chest and head to the floor slowly.
