Snoring can be caused by a number of reasons, like a blocked nose, a double chin or fat in the neck region, exhaustion, or mucous accumulated anywhere in the respiratory channels. So, have mercy on your bed mate and try these Ayurvedic home remedies to help with your snoring!
Put a couple drops of desi ghee (clarified butter) or badam tel (almond oil) in each nostril before sleeping. Not only does this lessen the snoring, it will also give you relief from headaches and sinus.
Rub some ghee (clarified butter) on your navel before sleeping.
Have one spoon of badam rogan (almond oil) in a glass of warm milk before bed. Almond oil act as a lubricant and will stop the snoring caused by dryness in the respiratory channel.
If you have mucous in your nose, make a decoction of adrak (ginger) and elaichi (cardamom) in hot water and drink this before going to bed.
Have half a spoon of saunth ka churan in honey before you sleep.
Take steam once a week to clear your respiratory channels.
