Simple Tips for Relief in Nasal Congestion

Nose blocks or nasal congestion is very common in winters. There are many problems that may occur due to nasal blockage like running nose, congestion, headache etc. For nasal block, we mostly rely on Ayurvedic treatment as it is easily available and has no side effects. Here, we have shared few popular natural ayurvedic remedies for nasal congestion:

Crushed Mint leaves or a few drops of Peppermint or Eucalyptus oil

In Ayurveda, inhaling steam is a quick relief method from nasal congestion. You can add crushed mint leaves or few drops of peppermint or eucalyptus oil in the boiling water and inhale it for some time. This will give quick relief from any nasal problem.

Garlic in Mustard Oil

Mustard oil is a very good decongestant and gives great relief in sinus and nasal blockage. You can take few drops of warm mustard oil in your nostril to get instant relief from running nose. You can also add few garlic buds in mustard oil and simmer it on low flame for one minute. You can take 2-3 drops of the oil in your nostril; it will be of immediate relief and is a great ayurvedic medicine.

Lemon Tea

For stuffy nose or sinus problem, you can take any herbal tea like chamomile, green tea or lemon tea. You can easily prepare lemon tea and add honey for taste. This will also help you from congestion.

Jiva Anu Oil
