It’s true that a sore throat affects people of all ages, but it’s more prevalent among children and people with allergies and a weak immune system. It is the first sign of an upcoming cold, strep throat, or gastrointestinal reflux. A sore throat can easily be treated using natural ingredients such as garlic.
Garlic has a potent immune-stimulating effect that prepares the body to fight and heal the infections which cause a sore throat.
The natural oils in garlic provide decongestant and expectorant effects that break down the mucus and help expel it from the throat.
An active ingredient Allicin is present in garlic kills the bacteria or virus causing a sore throat.
