Greasy Hair- Cause and Cure

Greasy Hair means oily hair, which is caused due to the production of excess sebum from the hair gland. Sebum is the natural oil secreted from our body to provide nourishment to our hair, but when the secretion of sebum exceeds the requirement level, and then it becomes a concern for our hair.

Ayurvedic Cause:

As per Ayurveda, greasy hair is caused due to the aggravation of the Kapha doshas. A proper healthy diet, herbal medicine and proper lifestyle can pacify Kapha doshas, nourish and improve the quality of your hair.

Home-Remedies:

Henna

This herb is very beneficial for hair. Apart from conditioning, henna balances Kapha on the scalp. You can mix curd with Jiva Henna Hair Care Powder and apply it on your scalp. Use this remedy twice in a month.

Lemon Juice

Lemon Juice is acidic in nature; thereby it is very effective in reducing excess oil from your hair. You can apply lemon juice for once or twice a month, keep it for not more than 5 minutes and then wash it with a mild shampoo.
