5 Foods That You Should Never Take in Diabetes

If you are suffering from diabetes, then you should avoid eating these foods to keep your sugar level under control.

Anything made from trans-fat is very dangerous for you because it increase your sugar level significantly. Food items available in the market such as samosas, pastries, fast food contains trans-fat in very high quantities. We suggest you not to eat these trans-fat foods.

Sugary Fruits

There are lots of sweet/sugary fruit that you must avoid such as mango, apple, grapes, etc. These fruits have high sugar content and hence should be avoided. You can eat fruits such as Blackberry and Gooseberry that control your sugar. Avoid taking dry fruits like raisins. Saturated sugar is found in dry fruits and contains very less amount of water. Sugar level increases significantly with the intake of these fruits. If you wish you can take almond and walnuts in moderate amounts.

Refined Flour

Avoid food items like samosas, Bhatura, Momos, Bread etc which are made of refined flour. It increases your sugar level significantly and is very dangerous for your health. It causes constipation and obesity, so try to avoid these food items.

Packaged Foods

The next product that you do not have to eat is package foods which are available in the market like snacks, chips etc. These types of food products have fast digestive carbohydrates, which increases your blood sugar level instantly.

Coffee

Coffee has significant amount of caffeine which is very bad for people suffering from diabetes. If you have the habit for coffee, then try to limit it as much as possible.
