The fourth month marks the beginning of the second trimester. It is around this month that your body begins changing externally and it becomes obvious that you’re carrying a little one inside you!
During this month, all the limbs and organs of the baby become distinct. The baby grows a neck, develops joints in the limbs, grows hard bones and skin. The baby also starts kicking and flexing in the womb. The baby is 4 to 5 inches long and weighs just less than 3 ounces.
Dairy products are important during this month. Include butter in your diet along with rice and curds.
Eat all sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables to build ojas (immunity) like dates, apricots, mangoes, dark leafy greens and other green veggies like spinach.
