But, being busy in our daily routine, we usually run out of time to keep our skin and body optimally hydrated which leads us to many diseases. Indigestion, kidney failure, flaky, itchy, and pimple prone skin are the consequences of insufficient hydration of our body.
Skin needs nourishment, moisture, and nutrients which water supplies to it through proper regulation of blood. Every 500ml glass of water increases the flow of blood in the skin which keeps it healthy and radiant. Because skin disorders also caused by indigestion, hydration is a boon for such disease as water detoxifies the skin and body. Keeping our body hydrated by drinking enough water or applying hydrating moisturizer on the skin is a must-have in daily skin care regime. Both in summers and winters, one should keep his body moisturized with hydrating moisturizers. A perfect mixture of milk cream, castor oil, and rosewater, when massaged on the skin, is good for dry skin. One can also massage skin with buttermilk or curd because essential oils present in them keep skin moisturized for long.
