Skin needs nourishment, moisture, and nutrients which water supplies to it through proper regulation of blood. Every 500ml glass of water increases the flow of blood in the skin which keeps it healthy and radiant. Because skin disorders also caused by indigestion, hydration is a boon for such disease as water detoxifies the skin and body. While drinking 8 glasses of water is the best way to stay hydrated, you may end up rushing to toilet every second hour. So, simply drinking water all day long might not be a suitable way. Here are the better alternatives:

Drink more fluids:

Drink fruit juices, buttermilk, coconut water, lemonade, and other hydrating and refreshing fluids that provide our body with water, and taste bud with varying tastes.

Eat watery fruits and vegetables:

Watermelons, cucumber, cantaloupe, pomegranate, cauliflower, and spinach are rich in water, antioxidants, and nutrients that make these perfect for skin care.

Use hydrating moisturizers:

Both in summers and winters, one should keep his body moisturized with hydrating moisturizers. A perfect mixture of milk cream, castor oil, and rosewater, when massaged on the skin, is good for dry skin. One can also massage skin with buttermilk or curd because essential oils present in them keep skin moisturized for long.
