Coconut is a wonderful fruit that has been long used in Ayurveda for its cooling properties and sweet rasa (taste). It helps balance pitta and vata, while the sweet taste nourishes the body and leaves you feeling satiated and invigorated.
Coconut helps with stomach disorders that are caused due to aggravated pitta, such as acidity and gas.
It is excellent for relieving hot flashes due to its cooling properties.

½ cup suji (Semolina flour)
8 oz coconut milk
2-4 tbsp honey
A pinch of salt
Place the milk in a saucepan and allow it to simmer till it starts bubbling. Then slowly stir in the suji and the salt, preferably using a whisk to prevent lumps.
Allow it to simmer till it thickens and then take it off the heat.
Add the honey, serve and enjoy!
