  4. Hadjot for Knee & Joint Pain Hadjot is a strange-looking creeper, native to India. It is used extensively in Ayurveda as a painkiller and to cure joint pain. The best way to have this herb is to make it into chutney from its tender stems and leaves and temper it in ghee. Having this chutney regularly reduces joint pains considerably.

  5. Tulsi (The Holy Basil) for cold, cough and fever The healing power of tulsi is well known. It helps clear phlegm from bronchial tubes to prevent common cold, cough, fever, and other respiratory problems. It also regulates blood cholesterol levels. The leaves can also treat mouth ulcer, bleeding gums, and other teeth and skin problems.
