Ouch! Joints Hurting? Get Relief From The Pain!

Joint pain is a common symptom of age catching up with you. It’s your body’s way of saying you’re no longer as fit as you once used to be, that it might be a good idea to slow down a bit and get some rest. However, some joint aches can be chronic and way more severe. So, if you’re experiencing an ill-timed pain in the joints, we recommend you try one of these natural Ayurvedic remedies of joints pain caused by an old injuries or rheumatoid arthritis.

Heat Therapy:

Hot fomentation is one of the oldest known methods to treat pain. Jiva’s Pain Calm Potali works on this principle and brings relief from joint aches. We have selectively chosen various herbs that have powerful medicinal properties and is a very effective Ayurvedic medicine for knee joint pain. Messaging twice a day with the Potali is sure to help a lot.

Fenugreek (Methi):

Fenugreek is a high-grade antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, making it a preferred choice for joint pain treatment. Swallow one medium-sized teaspoon of fenugreek power mixed with honey and drink a glass of lukewarm water with it. Don’t gulp down the entire glass in one go! Take slow sips. Soon enough, you’ll notice a difference in the severity of pain you’re experiencing.

Turmeric (Haldi):

Consuming turmeric is one of the most commonly prescribed joint pain home remedies. Mix one teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of warm milk. If you want to make it sweet, add jaggery or honey, but never sugar. Drink at least one glass of turmeric-milk every day, preferably in the morning with breakfast.

Turmeric contains a substance called ‘curcumin’, which makes it a powerful antioxidant and lends it anti-inflammatory properties. Those who are lactose intolerant or don’t like milk should have a couple of turmeric capsules (250 mg) every day.

If you’ve been experiencing joint pain for a while, we’d advise you not to ignore it. With time and age, it only gets worse, impacting your mobility and making it difficult to do the simplest of things, like sitting or getting up. Make sure you see a doctor at the first signs of joint pain so that the problem can be nipped in the bud.
