Acne is a common skin problem that many people face and it’s a sign of an unhealthy body. Ayurveda believes an improper diet and lifestyle leads to an increase kapha and vata dosha that impacts the formation of rakhta and medha dhatu.
Make a thick paste of turmeric (haldi), sandalwood (chandan), and water in equal proportions. Apply and leave it on till dry. Rinse off with warm water.
Amla (Indian Gooseberry) cleanses the system internally. Eat one teaspoon of powdered amla twice a day.
Apply a paste of turmeric, saffron (kesar), neem, red sandalwood, basil (tulsi) leaves and fuller’s earth (multani mitti). Leave it on till it dries and wash off. Do not rub
Make a mixture of ripe tomatoes and cucumber in equal quantity. Apply on your face and let it absorb excess oil. Wash off after 15 minutes.
Apply gel of fresh aloe vera on your skin to let it cool and reduce acne. Having 2 spoons of Aloe Vera Juice once a day also helps.
Apply a paste of apple and honey thrice a week. It reduces acne and gives you healthy skin.
Apply the mixture of masoor dal (lentil), curd and 5-6 drops of neem oil to get acne-free skin and a good complexion.
