Dr. Sushma Upadhyay

Dr. Sushma is an accomplished Ayurvedic physician with a postgraduate specialisation in Kayachikitsa. Her clinical expertise lies in managing metabolic and lifestyle-related disorders, with a strong foundation in evidence-based Ayurvedic practices. She has published over eight research articles in reputed international journals and has two publications in UGC-approved journals, including JRAS and JISM. In 2022, she was awarded the Best Research Paper Presentation award for her contribution to Ayurvedic science. Dr. Sushma also co-authored a chapter titled “Systematic Review on Jatharagni at Macro Level and Boothagni–Dhatvagni at Micro Level with Respect to Kala” published in the Compendium of Biofire in Ayurveda. Additionally, she is an active medical reviewer for international research articles, bringing a research-oriented perspective to her clinical practice.
